Why dance photography?

After photographing weddings and families for years, dipping into the dance photography community has been less stressful and so fun for me! I love getting to see what art dancers create with their talents. As a creative, it’s really cool to bounce off ideas with others in any sort of art form. This new endeavor with capturing dance has refueled my passion for photography. I don’t just love photography, but art as well! So this route makes sense for me!

About me:

My passion for photography has changed over the years. When I first started, my now 10 year old son was a newborn. I knew I wanted to take photos of all of his milestones, and that’s what pushed me to get my first camera. As the years have gone by, my passion has transformed. I see light in a different way then when I first started and instead of being so focused on capturing THE perfect photo… I have found so much joy in capturing real moments and memories. The galleries I provide my clients are full of belly laughs, sweet moments, beautiful light, and sometimes… even a blurry photo of your baby running with a huge smile.

I want to capture your family as they are. I want to give you REAL memories to look back on.
